Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2006

Another remarkable body of evidence for Raf Simons' ingeniousness. Formal innocence conquered by structure, neglect and deletion. Cutout shirts and sheer coats threatened by overdimensioned trousers. The sentence: Guilty.

I think this is excellent.

It's really amazing to see that this is what he did early on in his career. Now he is creating extreme minimalist clothes. If you look above, the individual pieces he made look quite maverick. Now he's on a cosmos of taking traditional to the extreme. It's definitely a sign that younger designers see him as an iconoclast.
