Once again, the presentations of London Fashion Week have attracted attention for their close reference to Nicolas Ghesquière. Possibly unwanted yet comprehensively, strong names of their own right dare to recreate the Balenciaga look. Blatant copy or identity crisis? A (subjective) examination of facts and evidence.

I know, you never agree. But isn't the overall expression the exact same? A loosely knitted ruber tube/leather mesh sweater? The hard lines, softened by floral print? Not even close to Balenciaga?
Agreed - and surprised it doesn't get mentioned more. J.W. Anderson too.
I was pulling some makeup inspiration from the Fall/Winter 2011 Balenciaga collection, for my latest look. But after seeing this post, I feel even more inspired. Now I'm thinking about incorporating flowers too. Thanks!
